Biography:

Dr. Rose O. Uradu, MD, is a board-certified Addiction Medicine specialist and the Medical Director of Ultimate Treatment Center in Ashland, Kentucky. With more than 30 years of experience in medicine and over 15 years devoted specifically to addiction care, she brings deep clinical expertise, unwavering compassion, and a strong commitment to expanding access to high-quality treatment across Eastern Kentucky and the tri-state region.

Dr. Rose Uradu began her career in family medicine before pursuing further clinical experience and board certification in Addiction Medicine. Her work focuses on providing evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder, including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone, as well as addressing co-occurring mental health conditions that often accompany substance use. She has cared for patients in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia, helping individuals at every stage of addiction and recovery.

In her role as Medical Director, Dr. Rose Uradu leads a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, counselors, and case managers who work together to deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed care. She collaborates closely with community partners, justice-involved programs, and local healthcare systems to reduce barriers to treatment and support public health efforts throughout the region.

Medications for Opioid Addiction

She is licensed to prescribe and manage all FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder, including: Methadone, Buprenorphine (Suboxone®) and Naltrexone. These medications help reduce cravings, stabilize withdrawal, and significantly lower overdose risk.
